Jan 23, 2019

New year, new me. For many, the new year provides a perfect opportunity to start over or incorporate something new into your life.  New Year’s resolutions can run the gamut, whether it’s shedding a couple pounds, exercising more or improving your finances. But do New Year’s resolutions work?

On today’s episode of Healthy You, we speak with Todd Miller, director of the Weight Management and Human Performance Laboratory at GW’s Virginia Science and Technology Center, and Stephanie Mull, a dietician at the lab, whose advice on setting resolutions may surprise you. They also share tips for taking a more realistic and big-picture approach to weight loss that may lead to better results.
