During this pandemic, sitting at home and watching tv can be considered good public health practice, but is it really healthy? Many experts have voiced concern about weight gain and loss of activity during this time of quarantine. Dr. Loretta DiPietro, a professor in the Department of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences at the GWSPH, discusses current trends in physical activity during this pandemic and how the need for people to move more and sit less.
